FreeIGM Manifest AI is an intelligent document reading feature that extracts cargo data directly from uploaded MAWB, house bill, and cargo documents — and uses it to automatically pre-fill your CGM form. Instead of manually entering every HAWB field, you upload the document and the AI does the data entry for you.

Manifest AI supports PDF files (both digital and scanned), JPEG and PNG images of physical documents, and multi-page document uploads. It works with standard airline MAWB formats, house bill templates, and consolidation manifests commonly used in Indian air cargo operations.

Manifest AI can read Master Air Waybills (MAWB), House Air Waybills (HAWB), house bills of lading, cargo manifests, booking confirmations, and any document containing shipment details like consignee, shipper, pieces, weight, and commodity. Manual CGM creation requires typing every field — HAWB number, shipper, consignee, pieces, weight, commodity, origin, destination — one by one for each house shipment. With Manifest AI, you upload the document and the AI extracts and pre-fills all fields automatically. Manifest AI is built on Google Cloud Document AI — Google's enterprise machine learning platform for intelligent document processing. The FreeIGM processor is trained specifically on Indian air cargo document formats including airline-issued MAWBs, HAWB templates, and consolidation manifests. Google Document AI uses deep learning models to locate, read, and extract structured fields from both digital PDFs and scanned physical documents — including handwritten values and low-resolution scan quality. The system returns a confidence score for each extracted field, which FreeIGM uses to flag low-confidence values for your review before filing.

Manifest AI uses real machine learning — not pattern matching or rule-based automation. The underlying Google Cloud Document AI model is trained to understand document structure visually and semantically, handling variation in layout, font, language, and scan quality that would break a rules engine. Unlike simple automation that fails on non-standard formats, Manifest AI processes airline MAWB templates from dozens of carriers and house bill formats from different freight forwarders — because it understands cargo documents as a trained model, not as a fixed template.

From MAWB documents: MAWB number, airline carrier code, origin airport (IATA code), destination airport (IATA code), total piece count, total gross weight, shipper name and address, consignee name and address, and commodity description. From house bills: HAWB number, piece count, gross weight, shipper name, consignee name, and item description for each house shipment. The extracted values are mapped directly to the corresponding CGM fields required for ICEGATE Air Consol filing, and cross-validated — house totals are automatically checked against master MAWB totals before you file.
